About SettleBuddy
Who we are
SettleBuddy is built by Settlebuddy Technologies, a micro-enterprise registered under India’s MSME framework and based in Chandigarh, India. We build software for people moving their whole life to another country: the paperwork, the work, the home and the language, in one place.
What we build
SettleBuddy, the relocation engine, is in early access. Its systems — Visa AI, Career AI and Housing AI — are described on the home page and on the roadmap.
Language Lab is live: an AI language app that teaches the language of landlords, doctors, banks and bureaucracy in 50 languages, for people who are moving abroad rather than going on holiday. It is operated as its own product with its own terms.
How the Journal is written
The SettleBuddy Journal holds more than 600 guides on visas, residence permits, registration, housing and settling in. Each guide is built for the destination country from that country’s official sources — government portals, immigration authorities, statistics offices and the law itself — and names the source and the date it was read. Fees, income thresholds, work-hour limits and waiting times are checked against those sources before a guide is published and again when the rules change.
We do not take payment to recommend visa routes, lawyers, housing or language courses. Where a guide links to our own products, it says so.
